BATON PASSED!

MARCH CANCELLED
Now that Biden's stepped down, it's time for all of us step up. There's so much at stake.
Thank you to all who followed us and planned to march.
If organizing this has taught us anything, it's that the world is full of people who want to make a difference- and we need that now more than ever.
A little hope goes a long way.

March From Westlake Park To Seattle Center
FAQ
We are calling on President Biden to put the interest of the nation first and release his delegates and work with the party to set up a competitive process to choose a new standard bearer – someone who will lead an aggressive, no-holds-barred campaign to beat Donald Trump in November. This is not unheard of. Lincoln and both Roosevelts were nominated through a convention vote.
Because another Trump presidency would be disastrous and that’s the course we’re on. We respect President Biden and are grateful for what he’s done for our nation. But concerns about his age and health could prevent him from winning this race, especially given the headwinds he faces. Over 50 million people watched that debate. Three quarters of the electorate think he’s too old to go the distance for another term. He’s running behind in 5 out of 7 swing states. Those aren’t good odds. It is time to pass the baton to someone who has a better chance of beating Donald Trump.
Because phoning and emailing our representatives hasn’t worked. The Democratic Party is deferring to the President and he is not willing to consider that concerns about his health might cost him – and all of us - the race. Time is running out. We can spend our time doom-scrolling and hope for the best. Or we come together and let Biden and the DNC know that it isn’t just “elites and the media” who want a stronger candidate and a more aggressive campaign. It is the voters who supported him in the last election.
Yes, but time is running out, but that's why making your voices heard is so important. This is the critical window where we can apply pressure to make a change.
You might be voting blue and we are, too. If Biden is the nominee, we will support him. But there are too many voters who are undecided or who might abstain entirely if Biden runs. We need those voters if we want to defeat Trump. They need someone to vote for, not just against.
It could, but we don't think so. We believe that an engaged electorate makes the party stronger, and doing nothing is a greater risk than making our voices heard. As we’ve said, we will support the Democratic nominee whomever that might be. We just want to do everything we can to make sure that we have the strongest possible candidate to beat Donald Trump.
With an amazingly polished website like this, we are obviously funded by gigantic megacorporations. Seriously, though, we're a group of concerned citizens who think that the current situation is untenable. We're not funded by anyone. We have our wits, some friends, and a lot of passion. That's it. Not even sure how you could give us money if you tried.
Yes. Anyone can come, but we ask that you come in peace. We are just here to make a statement. Respect your fellow citizens and the city we live in. We are all in this together.
The event will be cancelled, the organizers will breathe a collective sigh of relief, everyone can enjoy their Monday evening. Traffic will be better around Westlake. Problems solve themselves sometimes.
The sole purpose of this march is to demand that Biden release his delegates so there can be an open convention and we can choose the best candidate to beat Trump. Please save any other issues for a different protest.
Follow our socials, share our message, and come to the march. Bring your friends! The more people who show up, the greater our impact will be. This is achievable - but only if we have the numbers to back it up. For anything else, reach out to us at contact@ptbjoe.org
